The MAN Group's entrepreneurial activities center on products and services that are geared to the needs of customers and markets and unite quality, reliability and economy to the benefit of our customers.

MAN Truck & Bus regularly evaluates its customers' expectations and derives concrete guarantees of performance from them. These are in turn reflected in ten "Customer Promises". Beside this MAN continually promotes increased transport efficiency with its "Consistently Efficient" program. In this context MAN provides a comprehensive concept for reducing a vehicle's running costs. Here the telematics system MAN TeleMatics plays an important role, supplying as it does the necessary data for optimizing fleet management and logistics. These functions will be available throughout the EU at the start of the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover in 2012.

By strictly gearing it activities to customers' needs and coupling this with its competence in emerging countries, MAN Latin America has moved to the top of the rankings on customer, dealer and after sales satisfaction. The need for further products is being covered by launching the MAN brand in Brazil. In future the MAN brand will complement VW T&B as the most popular brand in Brazil and Latin America.

MAN Diesel & Turbo tackles individual customer requirements in a very special way, taking them into account even in feasibility studies. After the tailor-made product development customers are closely monitored over the entire life cycle of the product. In the power plant sector, for example, customers are offered services for having plants run and maintained by employees of MAN Diesel & Turbo. Alternatively, the customer's own personnel can be trained and given the necessary support. This long-term commitment reflects the priority that MAN gives to the idea of customer added value.
