The Technische Universität Dortmund is one of the youngest and most progressive universities in the country. Since its foundation in 1968, it has been an institution dedicated to cutting-edge research and research-driven education. One of its primary aims is achieving the transfer from innovation to marketable product. With approx. 3,000 faculty members and 22,000 students, the campus has become a small city in its own rights, known as the “UniverCity”.
Its 16 faculties include mathematics, computer science and physics, industrial engineering and electrical engineering / information technology, while its cooperation with MAN concentrates primarily on business degrees, such as business management or economics, business engineering or commercial mathematics. In the winter semester 2008/09, MAN will enable students on these courses to participate in a range of initial projects and support young, talented high performers with a scholarship.

Top managers from the MAN Group and other well-known companies will give lectures on “Successful Management and Controlling” in the winter semester 2008/09.
