We are not just leaders in the deployment of innovative technologies, but also in the employee and social benefits that we provide. Here is an overview of the most important of these:
- Company pension scheme

Our company pension scheme has for decades been one of the most important benefits we provide. As part of our profit-sharing and retirement provision, we offer MAN employees a company-financed pension scheme. We also make it possible for employees to consolidate their private occupational pension plans through deferred compensation. We offer our managers their own retirement benefit packages in the form of a capital account.
- Protecting and promoting health

We want our employees to stay healthy. For this reason we have launched a number of initiatives aimed at preventing work-related illnesses. These include, for example, physical therapy for assembly-line staff, company-run preventive medical check-ups, skin-protection days, counseling on the risks of cardiovascular disease, and activities such as running groups, back training, and courses on nutrition and on how to give up smoking.
If an employee does fall ill, we will support them with outpatient and emergency treatment. In addition, we of course provide occupational rehabilitation following workplace accidents.
- Nursery

In order to reconcile work life and family life as best as possible we have for example set up the "MAN Löwenkinder" (lions' offspring) day care scheme at our location in Munich. "MAN Löwenkinder" is open to all children and provides 36 nursery slots and 50 in the kindergarten with professionally trained support over a total area of 800 m². Child care is of course offered at our other locations, too.

Whoever bears special responsibility for MAN will share in the company's success. Variable remuneration creates a direct link between personal performance and the company's success. It can be influenced by every manager individually and by all employees together.
